 This privacy statement sets out how www.thebabysroom.co.nz will store and use information relating to you. This applies to the entire web site. www.thebabysroom.co.nz is a trading name of The Baby's Room Limited. The Baby's Room is committed to respecting your privacy. We have structured our web site so that, in general, you can visit the website without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. Once you choose to provide us with any information by which you can be identified, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this Privacy Statement. 

Security Information

The Baby's Room is committed to protecting your privacy. We have taken all the essential measures to make sure that any information you give us remains private and secure and that your payment and registration information is processed with total confidentiality. When you place orders and use a credit card, we use the services of DPS, a credit card security company owned by Payment Express to provide a completely secure credit card payment process.  This means that we do not store credit card information on our servers or copy that information onto our site.

Note: If you want to enjoy the benefits of shopping at www.thebabysroom.co.nz, and pay by internet banking, we have that as a payment option.  

What we collect

We collect the following information:

  • Where you order products, we will collect your name, address and email address in addition to transaction details.
  • When you register with us to receive our newsletter we collect your first and last name and your e-mail address.

    We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • To analyse the use of the www.thebabysroom.co.nz website.
